Everything went well at the notary office today, then we toured a pavilion from the Han Dynasty. It was beautiful. There was a traditional Chinese program and our guide, Helen, told us the stories of some of the paintings that were everywhere on the walls.

Lisa and Sue, we want to know if there is any western food at the White Swan??

Yes, there is Western food. The breakfast buffet is a mix. I never ate there in the evening, so I'm not sure about dinner. If I remember correctly, there is KFC and/or McDonalds nearby. Lisa? We ate at a nearby restaurant every night. I think it was named Lucy's, but at this moment I'm suffering from "back to school brain." At any rate, it's a restaurant with a woman's name...you go out the front door of the White Swan and down the street about a block-to the right. They serve western food, but serve all sorts of things...and congee for the little ones. There's lots of shopping nearby too ;-) Take care of yourself. You'll be with the rest of your dear ones soon! I've never had to leave Lainie for long. I can't image what it must be like.
Sue
