As of right now the Steele family is in the air on the way to China. I got the following story from Jill, Cherie's mom, when they got back from the airport. It's pretty amazing...
"We delivered everyone to the airport safe and sound and left while they were waiting in line for security. Cherie called me as we were driving home to say they got through the dreaded security just fine, and were in line waiting to board. They had met one of the other couples they are traveling with, and were getting to know each other. She said, 'Bye, probably won't talk to you for a while.' A couple minutes later the phone rang again. It was Cherie - 'Mom, you won't believe this. The ticket agent called for the Steele family. I went up and he said quietly, it's your lucky day, you won the lottery. You are being moved to first class!!' She said, 'Mom, you should see how much room their is. Mitchell even has room to stretch his legs!! That 14 hours might not seem quite so long. Amazing! What a blessing! Now maybe I won't worry about getting claustrophobic.'"
How could anyone still wonder if the Lord is part of this trip? Just keep on praying for them and I'll keep you posted.
